Madison County 4-H is collecting caps. They are looking to donate benches for Madison County. You may contact Susan Moore for drop off site (618) 910-9076.
FCB Bank – The schedule is set for our Shred Days this year. It’s a great way to dispose of the papers that you don’t want in the hands of the dumpster divers or crooks. So put it on your calendar!
The Recycling Extravaganza is the preeminent recycling collection event in the St. Louis region bringing nearly 20 different collectors of hard-to-recycle materials to one site for public convenience and appropriate disposal. Here is your one-stop shop to responsibly recycle electronics, carpeting, school supplies, mardi gras beads, clothing and much more. (see below!). In 2017 they collected 31 tons from 700 vehicles during the 4-hour event. The event is held at ST. LOUIS COMMUNITY COLLEGE AT FOREST PARK.

Restore Decor accepts wood furniture, and lightly upholstered furniture, such as chairs with seat cushions. They aren’t accepting LARGE tv hutches.
Restore Decor is a non profit, made up of 100% volunteers. Furniture is repaired and painted by volunteers. Furniture is sold at their store, and then proceeds are donated to local non profits. Restore Decor is open for sales on Saturdays at 111 2nd Street.
Donations may be dropped off on Saturday’s, or during drop in volunteer painting on Tuesday and Thursday Nights from 6:30 – 8:30 pm, at the Main Street location. They can also arrange pickup for Edwardsville and Glen Carbon residents. Please like Restore Decor on facebook.

From EHS – The National English Honor Society will be collecting new or gently used books, blank journals, dvds, cds, and new coloring books and crayons from March 1 through April 28th to benefit the St. Louis Children’s Hospital and the Oasis Women’s Center in Alton. Look for a donation box in your English classroom. Or ask an EHS student.
It’s that time of year again. The Shoe Crew Water Project is back!

Electronics Recycling @ St. Boniface

9:00 a.m. – Noon
St. Boniface Parish will be offering E-waste (electronics) recycling on Saturday, September 10, from 9:00 a.m. – Noon. Bring anything with a cord or metal – your old printers, computer towers, laptops, servers, network gear, radios, gaming systems, cell phones, Christmas lights — anything with a cord — to the St. Boniface parking lot for recycling. Sorry, but the recycling centers can no longer accept TVs, unless they are flat screens.
